Valencia Basket men’s team closes the first leg of the Liga Endesa season by visiting Unicaja's court (Saturday, 18th, 20:45h, Martín Carpena, #Vamos) in a direct clash where the winner will end the first part of the competition as the leader.

 

The Taronja team will try to extend their strong form and offensive ability, which have allowed them to secure three consecutive wins in national competition, in a matchup between two teams that prioritize teamwork. They are the only two teams in the Liga Endesa without a player averaging over 22 minutes and none below 11.

 

A "taronja" win would bring them closer to balancing the historical record in one of the courts they have visited the most in the Liga Endesa, where they have achieved good results in recent seasons despite the difficulty of the opponent.

 

With only the injured center Ethan Happ absent, the "taronja" squad has traveled with all 13 available professional players, and for the first time in an ACB game, if no new incidents arise, coach Pedro Martínez will have to make a technical decision to leave one player out, rather than a medical one.

 

Valencia Basket maintains the top spot in the Liga Endesa with a 13-3 record and a +179 in the overall basket average.
